Specific flora of saline lands in the Prut river meadow, sector Osoi-Moreni [Romania]

The experimental field Osoi-Moreni, the Iasi county, occupies an area of 84 ha, in the saline river meadow of the Prut, which includes 25400 ha such lands. The present paper analysed the experimental field from the floristic point of view, the vegetation period, bioforms, plant frequency and requiremens for soil and moisture. The floristic analysis was carried out both on cultivated land and on the natural meadow. The general survey of the experimental field includes 208 species and two subspecies belonging to 36 botanical families.
