1987
Aggarwal, R.K. | Sharma, B.K. | Raina, P. (Central Arid Zone Research Inst., Jodhpur (India))
Seven soil profiles in Western Rajasthan, India were studied. The fixed ammonium proportion of total N increased with depth in profiles and clay and silt content of soil, ranging from 6.0-45.6 %. The total hydrolysable, N proportion of total N varied from 48.9-87.4 % with depth and correlated significantly with clay content and fixed ammonium. The C/N ratios when calculated from total acid-hydrolysable N remained nearly constant
