The investigations have been carried out into the cuts of a medium-exuberant vegetative rootstock MM 106. The influence of varied indolebutyric acid concentrations (500, 1,500 and 2,500 microns) on the rooting effect of the above rootstock cuts has been investigated. The IBA concentrations of 1,500 and 2,500 microns (88.0 - 94.0 %) showed a great positive effect on the rooting of mature cuts of the MM 106 clonal rootstock and this should be taken into account when using this way of production in practice. The root length of rooted cuts has been measured and their number per each cut and with each treatment has been registered.
