Effect of plant growth regulator (ALAR) on the different stages of potato tuber worm (Phthorimaea operculella Zeller) [Egypt]

This work was carried out in the Experimental Farm and Insect Laboratory of Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. Alar or B9 a plant growth retardant was choosen to be used on potato plants as spray (0,500,1000 or 2000 PPm) monthly. Larvae were fed on leaves, brought from the experimental field. The biological processes were recorded; they were seriously affected by the growth regulators treatments.
