Biochemical effect of some antitranspirants on some biochemical constitutes of sesame seeds [Egypt]

The protein content of the defatted sesame seeds was increased with Phenyl Mercuric Acetate (PMA) and Chlorocholine Chloride (CCC) treatments, except that obtained with the higher PMA levels. On the other hand, PMA application reduced the soluble proteins whereas CCC application increased the soluble protein content. The application of PMA and CCC increased the insoluble protein fraction, except with the lower CCC concentration which caused a very slight decrease as compared with control. All treatments decreased the contents of the amino acids, Leucine+isoleucine, phenylalanine and valine. In addition, PmA treatments improved the methionine content, whereas ccc concentrations did not affect its contents.
