The trials reported were carried out at the Agricultural Experimental Station of the New Valley at El-Kharga to study the effect of Multhum substance which was imported from the Swedish Billroid Company as a manure. Four levels of Multhum were used (0, 2, 4 and 8 ton/fed.) and two levels of water intervals (14 and 21 days). This study aimed mainly to show the effect of Multhum under two levels of irrigation intervals on growth, some physiological aspects and yield of wheat plant. The cell sap concentration in leaves of wheat plant generally increased prior to irrigation. The cell sap concentration was lowered under Multhum treatment application in both types of soil (a and b) irrespective of watering intervals.
