Drying conditions of D. lanata have an essential effect on the cardiac glycosides content in herb raw material. Drying of D. lanata leaves in the temperature higher than 40 degrees C is especially disadventageous. Raw material with high glycosides content, particularly of lanatoside C. one ought to obtain using preliminary drying - temperature 30 degrees C during 48 hours and next stabilizing one to the obtainment of about 8 percent of humidity. Moreover, it has been ascertained that storage of fresh leaves in different conditions of lighting and air humidity has not an effect on the content of cardiac glycosides
