Contribution to study of mineral composition of some edible mushrooms in Toplica country [Yugoslavia]

Several varieties of the mushroom species Boletus edulis and Cantharellus cibarius have been investigated. Total mineral substances are a variable component of mushrooms depending on various components. The content of phosphorus is the lowest with Cantharellus cibarius and the highest with Boletus edulis var. edulis. Potassium content is the lowest with Boletus edulis var. aerus and the highest with C. cibarius. The sodium content is opposite from the potassium one.
