In 1986, the beet yield in productional regions in Vojvodina, varied and depended mainly on the weather conditions. In experiments on chernozem, the effect of sugarbeet irrigation came to 70%, depending on the variety and the irrigation procedure, while on the average for most of the experiments, it came 20-30%.
