Study of the growth performances, sex expression and yield of four cultivars of Lagenaria siceraria

Among the four cultivars used in this experimentation, LC(4) has the highest length of mainvine, total length of vine, number of female flowers and yield per plant. The male to female sex ratio was found lowest in LC4 where the highest percentage of female flowers were found to develop into fruits.
