[Effect of sows' daily weight gains on their reproductive performance and meat performance of their progeny]

Reproductive performance of sows - crossbreds of F1 generation of White Thoroughbred and White Meat breed, was examined and the effect of average daily weight gains on their subsequent utilization in the first litter and efficiency in the piglet fattening from 30 - 100 kg of live weight were recorded. The optimal rearing represents the average daily gains 0.45 - 0.55 kg, at which sows reached the best fertility in the first litter, the highest live weight and optimal development of sexual organs. Offsprings of sows in fattening achieved the parameters comparable with that of meaty hybrids.
