Causes of differences in spring barley yields in crops rotations with different soil cultivation

In the contribution there are considered sources of causes of different, mostly lower yields of spring barley in crop rotations during the use of minimalizing factors of soil cultivation in comparison with traditional technology, in the conditions of long-term stationary experiment in Zabcice on the training farm experimental basis of the University of Agriculture in Brno. As the main cause changes of soil environment are considered investigated in the course of years of experiment, which can be expressed as the state often exceeding marginal critical values of elementary physical properties of heavy soils of experimental locality and the state typical for compapacted soils. As threshold limiting values there are considered porosity of 48 per cent, reduced volume weight of 0.0014 g per cubic cm, minimum soil aeration of 10 per cent, soil resistance of 3.2 MPa. In the variants with the used minimalizing factors of soil cultivation there were found also higher wilting point values (permanent wilting percentage) by 14 to 21 per cent, i. e. by 1.93 to 3.26 per cent of weight moisture.
