Twenty-one insecticide treatments were carried out to study their effects on the cotton fiber properties. Cyfluthrin or decamethrin alone were less effective than their mixtures with trifumuron and methomyl, respectively. The mixtures of cypermethrin with diflubenzron or methomyl caused harmful effects, but its mixture with triazophos did not cause any harmful effects. The mixture of diflubenzuron with triazophos did not differ from the control but its mixture with methomyl or chlorpyrifos decreased the elongation percentage, also, its mixture with profenofos increased that percentage. Acephate increased the elongation % and decreased the 2.5 % span length and the mean length. Mephospolan increased the fineness. RH 0994 decreased the elongation percentage.
