Evaluation of the effect of water harvesting and polymer as soil conditioner on growth performance of non bearing "Nabali", one year old olive tree, was conducted. The field layout consisted of one year old olive trees started from cuttings, and one year grafted seedling olive trees, each one laid on split plot design. Main plots were polymer and nonpolymer treatments. Five subplot treatments were contributing area: T1=64m** (2); T2=90m** (2); T3=64m** (2) + irrigation (Irrigation 1: difference of water collected from T1 and T2); T4=64m** (2) + irrigation 2 (difference of water collected from T1 and T5); T5=100m** (2). Results showed that addition of polymer to the soil increased stem diameter significantly, experiment 1, and seasonal percentage increase in number of branches was notable in experiment 2. Contributing area supplemented by irrigation T4 significantly affected stem diameter, number of branches, extension growth of branch, and tree height, in the first period of experiment 1, seasonal percent increase of tree height in experiment 2, whereas T3 significantly affected extension growth of branches in experiment 2 only. Polymer treatment showed less moisture depletion than non treated soil, mainly at lower depth in both experiments, contributing areas had no influence on water depletion at top soil. In T2 and 4, moisture content at lower depths was the highest, in experiment 2. Soil water consumption by olive trees decreased in polymer treated soil compared to non treated one. T4 consumed the highest amount of water as compared to other treatments in both experiments
