Describes a study of possums, Trichosurus vulpecula, which has been going since 1982 on lowland sheep and cattle farmland in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. The fieldwork was designed to measure aspects of possum behaviour, population dynamics and movements, and their recovery after a control operation which would contribute towards their improved management in Tb endemic areas
