New forms of field cucumber and cultivation technology in seed production of heterosis varieties

Studies conducted at the Nochowo Station for 5 years have shown that gynoecism is not stable character in heterosis varieties of cucumber. Results obtained at the Station have confirmed a suggestion concerning the influence of environment on that character. The Station has elaborated a new economical technology of sowing parental forms for seed production of F1 hybrid of cucumber
