The total 249 ejaculates were taken from 6-month old boars. The highly significant effect of breed on biological value of young boar semen has been stated. The best quality of crossbred boar semen was found. The quality of fresh semen of Duroc boars was low, and their spermatozoa were the most susceptible to damages during 24-hours storage in Kiev diluent in room temperature
