The occurrence frequency of turnished plant bugs, parsnip webworm and the intensity of powdery mildew were higher in the years of lower rainfall sums and higher temperatures in May-July. The damages caused by aphids and turnished plant bugs can be considerably limited by applying an insecticide after forming fruits
