The experiment on 28 Polish Landrace sows fed ration with rapeseed oil during the second part of pregnancy or during the lactation period was carried out. The higher fat content and higher content of unsaturated fatty acids mostly linoleic, linolenic, arachidonic and erucic acid in milk and colostrum of sows fed rapeseed oil supplemented diets during the lactation period was stated
