Based on a three study of the effect of the variety genotype, fertilization and the sowing time on the production properties of buckwheat the following has been determined: There are significant differences in plant spacing during the germination and harvest of some varieties. The grain yield depends on several factors: The genotype of the variety which realization depends on other factors is in first place. The use of mineral fertilizers during buckwheat cultivation was justified. The highest grain yield of buckwheat was achieved when the soil was fertilized before sowing at the rate of N50P60K60+ foliar treatment with boron (227 g of boron acid) and urea (440 g on 650 l of water) per 1 ha at the beginning of the flowering period. The sowing time has a significant effect on the grain yield of some of the varieties. There is a possibility of increasing the grain yield by reducing the number of poorly filled grains. The denser plant stand gave higher grain yields per unit of area by approximately 30%, although the productivity per plant was lower.
