Investigations of Urotovet in preventing moulding of wet corn [fungicides]

The samples of the corn of good quality (10-12% of humidity) stored in room (T = 12-15'C) were sprayed with the Urotovet solution of 0,4, 1, 2, 3 and 4% concentration in quantity to immitate humidity of 30%, as well mixing the good quality corn with the moulded samples (in relation of 5:1) with the same concentrations of Urotovet in closed plastic containers immitating silos conserving. Effect of Urotovet in room were good as far from the 0,4% concentration of Urotovet, but not succesfull to prevent the spreading of moulding in closed containers. On the naturally wet corn authors recommend use of mixing dry substance of Urotovet on the w:w basis of 0,4-1%.
