This is a study of the effect of sires and some environmental factors on the parturition course, calf growth and milk production in one herd of black and white cattle. The following have been observed during this study: parturition course, progeny weight, exterior measurements of progenies, milk production (length of lactation, milk yield also expressed as the average milk fat content (kg) and the average milk fat content in percentages (%) and standard lactation (305 days) - milk yield also expressed as the average milk fat content (kg) and the average milk fat content in percentages (%); the effect of age, calving order and heredity on the parturition course and milk production: the effect of the parturition course, sex and heredity on progeny development.
