This is a study of the chemical composition and feeding value of the following maize hybrids for ensiling: PKB-633, ZPSK-704 and NSSK-825, PKB-633 was the first to reach full technological maturity for ensiling. At the moment of ensiling, it's dry matter content was quite high (32.07%), the net energy was 0.326 HJ/kg and it had a high corncob share - 35.84% of the total mass. ZPSK-704 is a late maturer and it is suitable for regular sowing in a wide range of areas. At the moment of ensiling, it had: 33.47% of dry matter, a net energy of 0.327 HJ/kg and a high share of corncob - 31.05% of the total mass. NSSK-825 is a late maturer, suitable for regular sowing. At the moment of ensiling, it had: 39.36% of dry matter, the highest net energy of 0.347 HJ/kg and the greatest share of corncob - 37.27% of the total mass.
