An experiment was conducted to observe the effect of rice polish and molasses as partial substitute of wheat grain in the ration of laying pullets of Fayoumi of 7 months of age on body weight gain, egg weight, feed consumption, feed efficiency, feed cost and livability. From the result, it was found than the treatment group T(1) (ration containing 55% crushed wheat without rice polish and molasses) produced better gain in weight that the treatment group T(2) (ration containing 45% crushed wheat with 7.5% rice polish and 25% molasses) and treatment group T(3) (ration containing 40% crushed wheat with 10% rice polish and 5% molasses) but the differences in weight gain among treatment groups were insignificant (P0.05). Ration containing 7.5% rice polish and 25% molasses (T(2)) produced higher number of eggs as well as in egg weight and consumed the feed more efficiently than the control group T(1) and treatment group T(3) but the differences were found nonsignificant. No effect was observed on the livability of the birds by the replacement of wheat for molasses and rice polish. Income over feed cost was positive in all groups, but better result and more profit were obtained in group receiving 7.5% rice polish and 2.5% molasses (T(2)). From the results it can be recommended that wheat grain could partially be replaced by rice polish and molasses without costing production and profit.
