Adoption of corn technology in Carmen, Cotabato [Philippines]

This study determined the adoption of technology by corn farmers in Carmen, Cotabato [Philippines]. There were 90 respondents interviewed with the use of prepared questionnaires. Results indicated that the Department of Agriculture as a government was the prime mover that spearheaded the introduction of corn technology to farmers in Carmen. There were 12 steps in the package of technology introduced to farmers. The technology was presented to farmers by way of seminars, training, farmers' classes, and field demonstrations.
