Decrease of Venturia inaequalis (Cke) Aderh. sensitivity to fenarimol

An obvious decrease of effectiveness of fenarimol was observed in an apple orchard treated with this compound several times in each season for 10 years. The presence of resistant spores of Venturia inaequalis was proved in 1990. Out of 173 one conidiospore isolates 109 demonstrated growth inhibition at 0.5 microgram/ml of fenarimol in a PDA medium, at 1.0 microgram/ml fenarimol content 26 isolates formed colonies; 16 at 1.5 microgram/ml; 8 at 2.0 microgram/ml; 8 at 2.5 microgram/ml and 6 at 3.0 microgram/ml
