Biological-pomological characteristics of some citruses in the initial period of bringing fruit in greenhouse conditions

All the investigated varieties of mandarins and lemons vegetate and grow well and start bearing fruits indoors - in a greenhouse. During the winter, when the temperatures are extremely low, the greenhouse is slightly heated while during the summer the roof glasses are white washed. With all the varieties vegetation begins considerably later, lemon, in the first and mandarins in the third decade of March. Growth of the investigated varieties was considerably cyclic that is, the period of active and inactive growth was reduced. The paper provides a description of the following: term of ripening, bearing ability, quantity of juices in fruits, content of the vitamin C.
