Petrovic, M. (Institut za stocarstvo, Beograd (Yugoslavia))
Investigations were carried out on 350 cows European black-white breed, daughters of 14 bull-sires. All lactations of cows which were exploited on one farm of PK "Beograd" (Yugoslavia) were investigated. During investigations, there wasn't important technological changings on farm. Cows were kept in classic stables capacity 120 heads and they were tied out. They were fed with standard meals, depending of the year (corn silage, green chop, alfalfa hay, beet dried pulp, brewer's grain and concentrate meals with various content of proteins). Average age at culling was 2093 days (1619 to 2560), but productive life 1590 days (1124 to 2026). Average number of lactations during lifetime was 3.30 for all groups of half-sisters (2.28 to 4.08). Daughters of all bulls realize, at standard lactation, 16,783 kg fat corrected 4% milk (10740 to 22760). Bulls-sires had significant and high significant influence on all examined traits, exept on percentage of milk fat.
