Differential blood count in cattle diseased with chronical vesical haematuria in some haematuric regions of Croatia [Yugoslavia]

Due to a relatively little information available on the features of the differential blood count in cattle diseased with chronical vesical haematuria to be found in either locally published or international reports, differential blood count of 25 haematuric cattle was processed statistically, and then analysed and compared with the available data. Materials examined showed all three types of anaemia (hypochrome, normochrome, hyperchrome) plus susceptibillity to leukopenia, neutropenia and lymphopenia, accompanied by a simultaneous appearance of eosinophilia. A closer relationship between the number of eosinophils and parasite invasion was not established.
