Evaluation of the seasonal changes of the stallion semen quality

Semen quality of 3 stallions in the year cycle was investigated. The ejaculate volumen, spermatozoa concentration, spermatozoa morphology and progressive movement, semen fructose and protein content as well as semen plasma aspartate aminotrasferase activity was evaluated. The highest semen quality in the winter-spring period was observed
