Effect of consecutive calving and date of lactation on milk performance of cows under loose housing system

Studies on 12 herds of Black-and-White cows were carried out. A highly significant effect of calving season on the daily milk production throughout the whole lactation as well as a highly significant effect of parity number on the milk performance in early and late lactation were stated
