On the field intensively fertilized with cow dung and mineral fertilizers after various preceeding crops use of various nitrogen amounts in wheat culture did not cause considerable yield increase. Wheat grain yield without top-dressing amounted after pea culture to about 7.5 t/ha and after barley culture to 6.4 t/ha. Efficacy of nitrogen fertilization inconsiderably increased when the diseases were chemically controlled
