An investigation on 96 New Zealand White rabbits of both sex was carried out. Effect of pre-slaughter 24 hr fasting, 72 hr immobilization and 24 hr fasting or 72 hr fasting was evaluated. The small influence of inbreeding, sex and pre-slaughter stress on carcass quality and Longissimus dorsi muscle traits was stated
