The work presents an attempt at artificial gynogenesis of carp, carried out by gamma radiation for genetic inactivation of spermatozoa and by applying low temperature shocks in order to obtain diploid embryos. The scaling gene effect was used as a marker of the gynogenetic genotype of the progeny. The absolute efficiency of the genetic inactivation of sperm was stated
