Yard long bean seed development and maturation was studied at Natural Resources Faculty, Prince of Songkla University, Haadyai Campus in 1987. The seed reached physiological maturity 20 days after blooming where seed maximum dry weight was 172.02 mg./seed and moisture content was 17.76 %, Germination could be measured from the seed at 10 days after blooming. Its highest germination of 97.00 % was found in physiologically mature seed with maximum seed vigor in terms of seedling dry weight of 85 mg./seedling and seedling root growth of 17.07 cm./seedling.
