Effect of vitamin treatment and mineral diet supplementation on some blood traits in sows in different seasons of year

An experiment on 48 sows given the vitamin A, D and E injections as well as a Zn, Mn and Cu diet supplementation at mating, during the pregnancy and lactation was carried out. The significant higher vitamin A, carotene, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus content in blood of the treated sows than in control ones was observed
