High level of fractional lucerne meal in the diet for laying hens

Two experiments on 288 Astra S laying hens fed a basal diet containing 5-14 percent of high protein and low fibre fraction of lucerne meals were carried out. The beneficial effect of lucerne meal fraction content in diet on egg quality (yolk colour) but not on laying performance in hens was stated
