The former strategic aim of activity consisting in steady growth of production, has been substituted by the strategy oriented on the effectiveness of outlays and verification of production by the parameters of market. In the Polish agriculture it is the unfavourable phenomena that prevail, but in a part of farms adjustment processes are already under way. Polish agriculture has greater adjustment possibilities than the other branches of economy
