It has been stated that varieties Melyanopus 69, Altaika, Kharkovskaya 17, Saratovskaya 59 and Hordeiforme 2946 possess high adaptive properties according to the content of carotenodic pigments in the grain, Bezenchukskaya 139, Luganskaya 7, Tselinogradskaya 85 and Svetlana are ecologically resistant and homeostatic, but not enough sensitive to improving conditions of growing. A low ecological adaptation has been noted for varieties Altaiskaya Niva and Krasnokutka 6
