The effect of zeolites on sorption, desorption and distribution coefficients 85 Sr and 137 Cs in different soils was studied. The zeolite application increases the sorption and distribution coefficients of both radionuclides mainly on light sandy and sand-loamy soils. The optimal zeolite rate is 20 t.ha-1.
