In 1985, a cropping pattern having sugar cane as a main crop along with different leguminous intercropping with 4 methods of fertilizer application i.e. no fertilizer, with fertilizer, fertilizer with Rock Phosphate (RP) and fertilizer + RP + cattle manure was evaluated. The experiment revealed that methods of fertilizer application do not effect yield of cane tonnage. In cropping pattern with peanut intercropped, and fertilizer apply with RP and cattle manure, the cane yield increased up to 16.09 ton per rai compaired to the control plot which yielded 11.06 ton per rai. In mung bean intercropping with sugarcane plus RP application, yield of mung showed a responsive increment.
