1992
Zivkovic, D. | Muncan, P. (Faculty of Agriculture, Belgrade (Yugoslavia))
In trials carried out over a 6-year period, an average direct labour input per unit of area was least in the production of rapeseed, 18.76 hours per hectare, folllowed by wheat, sunflower, corn and soybean, 25.53; 29.80; 54.10 and 53.23 hours per hectare respectively and greatest in sugar beet production, 149.02 hours per hectare with significant oscillations according to enterprises with respect to the same crop, proving thereby that rational and stable labour input use was not achieved yet and that labour input per unit of area could have been reduced, having in mind the reserves available. This would have had a more favourable effect on economic results as well.
