Fat, proteins and carbohydrates were chemically determined in random samples of meals in students' dining halls in Belgrade (Yugoslavia) and energy content of meals was calculated afterwards. The energetic value of the meals was too high, the energy percentage of fats reached 29-33, that of proteins varied between 14 and 16. Among 1.575 males and 1.449 females 9,3, resp. 15,8 showed a gracile constitution, 15,7, resp. 10,0 were obese. Systolic blood pressure over 140 mm Hg was established in 1,4 males and 0,9 females and diastolic pressure over 90 mm Hg in 0,8, resp. 0,2. Decreased erythrocytes count was found in 2,8 males and in 16,8 females.
