Sowing of spinach Hybrid number 424 (Ferry Morse, USA) since March to August 1986, 1987 and 1988 were made to evaluate the influence of ammonium sulphate and urea fertilizers on the crop yield. The best yields were obtained with ammonium sulphate applied on the sowing and at the middle of the crop
