Marketing research at Estonian meat plants

The Department of Economic Theory and Marketing and the Meat Technology Institute of the Estonian Agricultural University carry out work on meat and meat products market in Estonia. The present research shows how important marketing research is. There was developed a special questionnaire for analyzing meat and meat products market in Estonia. The questionnaire had three different variants: for producers, for stores and for consumers. With the help of the questionnaire it is possible to compare wishes and suggestions of the three different levels, analyze them and then put together. The results of consumers marketing research are given in the present article and some aspects of the present situation at meat plants have been analyzed
