Studies on the occurrence of powdery mildew on winter wheat cultivars under dry and irrigated conditions

The authors studied the yield, raw protein content and raw protein yield of different winter wheat cultivars and cultivar candidates. The powdery mildew infection were studied under dry and irrigated conditions. On the experimental plots we grew 84 different cultivars and candidates in the 1991/92 vegetation period. The plants were irrigated at two occasions; 100 mm water was applied altogether. To evaluate the experiments we made a statistical analysis to study the relationships between the qualitative, quantitative characteristics and powdery mildew infections
