Determination of the crude fibre content of sunflower meal using Fibertec method

The crude fibre content of 24 sunflower meal samples (representing 11,0-19,7 o/o of crude fibre) taken from production plant has been analysed by means of the "classical" standard method (Hungarian Standard: MSz 6830/7-81) resp. using the Fibertec instrument in the way expounded in the paper. According to the data of the comparative analyses the results of both procedures are in good accordance. For their correlation a linear equation can be established with a favourably small confidency-level interval. The correlation coefficient (0,9498) as well as the t value indicate a near accordance between the values of both data series
