Annual report for CIMMYT/ICARDA regional bread wheat nurseries 1992-93 [Triticum aestivum]

The data collected from 37 countries on bread wheat nursery sets of regional yield trials, observation nurseries, segregating populations, crossing blocks, and heat tolerance observation nursery assembled and distributed by ICARDA in early September 1992 for 1992/93 season are reported. The bread wheat nurseries were prepared by the joint CIMMYT/ICARDA breeding activities at ICARDA. The results of the regional bread wheat yield trials are presented at two levels: the overall performance and performance at each location. The results of the bread wheat observation nurseries are presented in three forms: performance summary for all reported traits across the maximum number of locations, the best entries for selected variables at each location, and general performance of the best entries for the selected variables. Information on the bread wheat segregating populations, entry selected or from which single plants were selected, is reported.
