Strawberry irrigation and its effect on yield quality and quantity

The influence of strawberry irrigation on yield quantity and quality was observed in 1991-93. It was found that the yields raised in the range from 94.5 % to 114.67 %. In the conditions of Nitra the irrigation requirement is: the time of fruit foundation, the ripening time and after the picking of fruits. This irrigation causes better creation and growth of the strawberry runners.
