Analysis of the present state of gas drive of lorries and the possibilities of its use in forest management

The possibilities of the substitution of diesel oil by alternative fuels for lorries and information on the state of the introduction of lorries gas drive in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and abroad are given. Problems connected with the reconstruction of lorries, costs of reconstruction and perspectives of broader introduction of gas drive are also given. The last chapter of the work contains considerations about the possibilities of gas fuel application for Tatra and Liaz lorries and presuppositions of its introduction in forest management in the Slovak and Czech Republics.
